Rapid Fire Book Tag

I have been bored and out of ideas of what to post on my blog so I researched some book tags and I decided to do this one!

This tag was created by GirlReading over on YouTube! So go on over and check her page out!

E-Book or Physical Book?

Personally, I prefer physical books most of the time but it is easier to borrow eBooks from my library because I don’t have to worry about returning the books or damaging them. I also like to have a book with me wherever I go so if I have some extra time I can just pull out my phone and pick up from where I was reading. So, I am going to have to go with eBooks!

Paperback or Hardback?

I prefer hardcover books because they look better on my shelf and it is harder to break them and they last longer than their paperback cousins

Online or In-Store Book Shopping?

I prefer in store book shopping but it’s normally more expensive to get a book in store and I just always feel rushed when I am in an actual book store.

Trilogies or Series?

I normally like to read series over trilogies because it gives the characters more time to grow but there are some books that I am glad they stopped after just three books such as The Maze Runner and Divergent trilogies.

Heroes or Villains?

Normally I like heroes because most of the books I enjoy reading such as the Harry Potter series and the Percy Jackson books always follow the heroes. So, if you have any good books based on villains please let me know!

A book you want everyone to read?

Anything by Sophia Elaine Hanson (even though I haven’t read them yet).

Recommend an underrated book?

Vinyl by Sophia Elaine Hanson because she is amazing.

The last book you finished?

Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry.

The Last Book You Bought?

You Will Be Mine by Natasha Preston. I have not read any of her books but I own them all so I need to pick up her books!

Weirdest Thing You’ve Used as a Bookmark?

Definitely toilet paper…

Used Books: Yes or No?

Used books are not for me… I prefer to have my books look in pristine condition.

Top Three Favorite Genres?

YA, Horror, Sci-Fi

Borrow or Buy?

I prefer to buy books because I like having a library of books in my house but I do like to borrow books from the Library.

Characters or Plot?

I like both I guess but I prefer to have a good plot.

Long or Short Books?

I prefer shorter books because if I read a long book (It by Stephen King) I just want the book to end! I don’t want to be stuck reading books for half a year!

Long or Short Chapters?

I prefer to stop reading at the beginning of chapters so I prefer short chapters!

Name The First Three Books You Think Of…

Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and Clockwork Prince

Books That Makes You Laugh or Cry?

I don’t remember the last book that made me laugh but the last book that made me cry was definitely More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera!

Our World or Fictional Worlds?

I prefer fictional worlds because they make me feel better and I don’t like thinking about the real world.

Audiobooks: Yes or No?

Yes, I have actually been listening to It by Stephen King while writing this! I also like to listen to books while I am driving!

Do You Ever Judge a Book by its Cover?

I have judged a book by its cover. My most recent book that I have fallen in love with the cover is Zenith by Sasha Alsberg and Lindsay Cummings. This cover was designed by the amazing J.D. Netto!

Book to Movie or Book to TV Adaptations?

I prefer book to movie because I enjoy going to see movies and they normally don’t mess the story up.

A Movie or TV-Show You Preferred to its Book?

The Maze Runner for sure. I don’t remember the book but I prefer the movie.

Series or Standalones?

For books with action and a lot of stuff going on I prefer series but for contemporary books I prefer standalones.
