Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella is about a teenage girl named Audrey. Audrey has a mental illness know as Social Anxiety Disorder. She has also been bullied and because of this has become like a prisoner in her own home. She is tasked with making a video about her family and her life by her counselor. She meets a guy named Linus, a friend of her brother’s, that helps her overcome her Social Anxiety Disorder.
Sophie Kinsella’s writing has the power to draw you in and keep you entertained from the first page to the last. so, if you’re looking for a good book that deals with a mental health issue. I suggest that you pick this book up.
This was the first book by Sophie Kinsella that I have read but I am looking forward to picking up her Shopaholics series. Sophie Kinsella is one of those authors, like many greats before her, that many different people from children to adults read and enjoy. You don’t have to be a girl to enjoy this book or any other “chick” books.
Finding Audrey is available on Barnes and Noble, Amazon, iBooks, Kindle, Nook, Books a Million, Goodreads, Book Depository, and many other places that sell books.
Seems like a great read! Thank you!
